Five Pubs To Watch The Adelaide Crows Smash The Grand Final

Grand Finals

Missed out on a ticket to watch the big game? Us too. Adelaidians, don’t panic. We’ve got you covered with a shortlist of local pubs to watch the Adelaide Crows smash the grand final. Caarn’ Crows.

Betts shoe store have not rebranded as Eddie Betts, blue donuts are ok to consume (this week anyway) and no, you haven’t left a pair of 3D glasses on from the West Lakes cinema. Our state is a sea of red, blue and yellow because the bloody Adelaide Crows have made it to the big dance.

Now, if you aren’t a footy fan, maybe stay in your living room like the Victor Harbour folk during schoolies. Or check out some non-footy options. Even then, it would be difficult to hide away from the amazing atmosphere taking over South Australia right now.

The last time Adelaide Crows were in the Grand Final was 1998 after their win in 1997, back-to-back baby! Malcolm Blight was coach, Shaun Rehn in ruck, Andrew McLeod and Mark Bickley were unstoppable and Ben Hart was the backline. Fast forward to 2017, we have new heroes. Tex, Eddie, Sloane, Sauce, Charlie…someone stop me. I couldn’t be any prouder of the boys, actually, ask me again after Saturday.

This is why I would give my left lady nut to be at the MCG on the last Saturday in September. Grand Final tickets are hard to come by, unless you are one of those corporate sorts, you pretty much have to hope to be the guy in the ‘I want to break free’ Lotto ad.

It’s the hottest ticket in town, well, hottest ticket in Melbourne but you get it. If you’re like me and didn’t come close to getting your mitts on a ticket and will only be going to the airport to wave/ give the bird to your mates as they board, here is our list of places to watch the boys get the job done.
