Because Wine Not?
Because wine not head out for a few drinks on a Friday? This week, skip your ‘usual’ and discover Signature Wines’ cellar door and their exquisite wines. Included in your ticket is a courtesy glass of wine on entry, choice of vegetarian or chicken curry our favourite part – naan. ABC Gardeners’ Market
In it’s 26thyear, ABC Gardeners’ market is your chance to let your green thumb run wild and take advantage of a huge selection of affordable, rare and essential gardening goodies. The market is also pet-friendly and all proceeds collected go to supporting St Johns Ambulance, so there’s even more reason to head along. There’s also a huge variety of delicious international food on offer and a stack of family entertainment. The ABC will also be opening their doors for free studio tours, too.

Riverland Wine And Food Festival 2018
Celebrate the Riverland’s rich wine and food culture with family and friends on the picturesque River Murray. There will be live music and entertainment along with local wine, beer, cider and non-alcoholic bevvies, too. Of course, there’ll be good grub on offer as well, and the RAA are offering up designated drivers a $10 food voucher and bottle of water to commend your sacrifice. Every ticket gets a complimentary branded wine glass, too. Win-win!

Hilton Harvest Garden
With a few more days of school holidays to go, this kid-friendly activity allows your little ones to plant seedlings in their DIY pot and take it home to grow. The ticket also includes lunch in Mybar. After the session, you can take the time to walk around the corner to the Adelaide Central Markets to get the shopping done and continue you the fresh food education at the same time. Hot tip – let your little ones pick something healthy out as a snack they can have in their lunch box. A little helping hand that educates them, too. After all, raisin kids is hard work.

Adelaide Zombie Walk 2018
Why not get two uses out of a Halloween costume this year. Create the best zombie costume for the chance to win the best-dressed prize at this year’s Adelaide Zombie Walk. There’s also an early entry prize if you enter between 3pm and 5pm. There will be no shortage of entertainment in the afternoon with DJ JoSH, stacks of variety stalls and plenty of food. While this event is free, it’s strongly encouraged that attendees make a monetary or food donation to Foodbank SA.

Feathers “Oyster Fest” 2018
With Oktoberfest done and dusted for the year, it’s time to check out Oyster Fest at the award-winning Feathers Hotel. Come along with friends for a tasty Saturday afternoon. Paper Marbling Masterclass
Marble artwork and paper designs seem to be a bit of a trend at the moment, but how is it actually done? Paperazzi Design Studio are hosting a 2.5 hour workshop teaching you just that. Head along and you’ll walk away with the three main techniques to marble like a pro. All that’s left to do is decide what clothes to wear that you don’t mind getting dirty. Fashion On Parade
With the Adelaide Fashion Festival about to kick off, why not enjoy a day out on the Parade for one of Adelaide’s premier fashion and dining to kick-start the AFF calendar. Three fashion shows will play out throughout the day (12pm, 1pm and 2pm), providing all your spring/ summer inspiration. Wine And Yoga
Treat your mind and body to a morning of yoga overlooking Cobb’s Hill Estate in the Adelaide Hills, and get excited for a splash of the good stuff afterwards. McLaren Vale Half Marathon
A half marathon is still 21 kilometres, but don’t sweat – there’s also a choice of 5 or 10 kilometres if you’re not quite up to the full halfa. The shorter track is from Hardys towards Willung and back while the Half marathon takes the Shiraz Trail between McLaren Vale and Willunga. Simply follow the grape vines along one of South Australia’s most scenic tracks. If you’re participating, don’t forget to use the hashtag (#mcLarenValeHalf2018) and why not stop of for a glass of vino afterwards at a local winery, too.

Long Lunch At Sean’s Kitchen
Put down the daily fish and krill oil tablets this weekend and get stuck into some real omega 3. Sundays are for seafood at the award-winning Sean’s Kitchen with their long lunches and free-flowing champagne.
